Meet the standard
In 2025, the Halifax Grammar Schools changed the way they reported the results for the 11+ exam. Children had to meet the required standard in all 3 subject areas (Maths, English and Creative writing) to be in with a chance of being offered a place at one of the grammar schools.
170 meet the standard
In September 2026 nearly half (170 out of 360) of the Year 7 places at the Halifax grammar schools will be taken by 11plusschool students.
1370 placed
11plusschool has a proven track record of success – placing 1370 students in the Halifax grammar schools from the last nine exams.

8 no. 1's ! Congratulations to 11plusschool students Asmita (2024), Felicity (2023), Dhruvan (2022), Raihaan (2020), Ophelia (2017), Aryan (2015), Sol (2013) and Willow (2012) as the number 1 ranked student in the Halifax grammar schools entrance exam. From 2025 rankings nolonger published by all the grammar schools.
